THE COMPARISION OF THE FACTORIAL DESIGN EXPERIMENT AND TAGUCHI APPROACH USING THE DATA OF A PRODUCTION COMPANY
Journal Title: Endüstri Mühendisliği - Year 2015, Vol 26, Issue 1
Abstract
In this study, 2k fractional factorial design experiment and Taguchi approach which are used in product design of a company are compared. According to conclusion of these methods as the system performance is at maximum, it is observed that the cost of the company is at minimum with the %99 confidence interval when all the factors are at the first level. The expected changes from the production system under the performance restrictions, it is concluded that cost of current system hasn’t been decreased and the system in use is more reasonable.
