THE CONCEPT AND CLASSIFICATION OF TERRITORIES ACCORDING TO THEIR LEGAL REGIME

Abstract
The article analyzes the concept and nature of the territories from the standpoint of modern researchers, jurists, their approaches to the classification of territories. Particular attention is paid to the criteria for the legal classification of territories, the ratio of concepts “mode” and “status” territories. The legal regime of the territories is revealed in view of the distinguishing features of the state territory, international territory, territories with a mixed legal regime.
