THE CONCEPT HOUSE IN SOVIET AND CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN MOVIES

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of presentation of the «house» concept in Soviet and contemporary Russian movies. The article presents the review of different kinds of concepts. There are three main directions of research concerning the concept in contemporary linguistics in this article. Such researchers as: S. A. Askoldov, D. S. Likhachiov, V. N. Telija are representatives of linguistic approach. Culturological approach is represented by Ju. S. Stepanov and G. G. Slyshkin. Ye. S. Kubriakova and V.A. Maslova are representatives of cognitive approach. We describe the «house» concept, which is one of the most important concepts in the Russian linguistic picture of the world. The concept has huge importance in the system of values of Russian people for ages. Housing problem existed both in Soviet times as well as in contemporary Russia and it is presented in different movies of Soviet and contemporary Russian cinematography. We present in the article the examples of flats and houses such as: kommunalka, khrushchyovka, labour hostels, Stalinskie vysotki, luxury houses, and cottages presented in the most popular Soviet and contemporary Russian movies.
