The content of the generic object of military offences: how it meet modern realities?

Abstract
The paper explores the legislation on criminal liability for military offences as well as other acts regulating the mode of a special period. To date, the Criminal Code of Ukraine does not envisage sanctions for certain offences, in particular, under the laws of Ukraine «On mobilization preparation and mobilization», «On legal regime of martial law» and other acts which in case of their commitment can pose significant damage to the military security of Ukraine. It is argued that there is a need to criminalize the above acts. Thus, it is proposed to extend the scope of generic object of military offences as part of the activities to enhance Ukraine’s security.
