Journal Title: Молодь і ринок - Year 2018, Vol 164, Issue 9
Abstract
The article attempts to analyze the essence and the content of preschool and primary school continuity in the context of the implementation of the New Ukrainian School Concept. The specificity of modern Ukrainian education is grounded in the view of informatization, globalization, technology and the growth of individual requirements. The achievements of scientists studying the problem of preschool and primary school continuity are analyzed. The article shows the necessity of systematic and consistent education from an early age; the importance of the issues of continuity of all parts of education, especially preschool and primary, which, in its turn, should determine the strategy of all educational reforms in Ukraine. To generalize the views of scientists and to solve the problem of the continuity of preschool institutions and schools in modern conditions, the author analyzes the scientific research, the authors of which touch on various aspects of the problem under consideration. The article determins the priority tasks of the process of preschool and primary school continuity. It was studied that at the beginning of the XXI century the continuity between pre-school and primary school is significantly lost and this gap is reflected in the process of personal development throughout life. It is not only about the educational component of this process, but also about the psychological, social, and personal one. The successful transition of a child from a preschool institution to a general education school is impossible without deep philosophical, sociological, psychological and pedagogical elaboration of regularities, principles, methods and ways of propaedeutic work with preschool children in the conditions of the family. The continuity in the article is interpreted as interconnection, interaction, logical continuation and deployment of processes and phenomena of education; as well as attributive parameters of continuity - the consistency of changes, the constancy and completeness of objectively existing relationships between preschool and school.
