THE DEVALUATION OF HRYVNIA. CAUSES AND WAYS OF OVERCOMING

Abstract
In the article the retrospective analysis of national currency devaluation was done. The main reasons that influenced on the devaluation of hryvnia since 1996 were established. The relationship between changes in the structure of Ukraine's payment balance and depreciation of hryvnia were considered. The main factors that have influence on the devaluation of hryvnia in modern conditions are revealed. The ways of strengthening national monetary unit in the exchange market are suggested.
