The Efect of Cash Management Strategies on Profitability in Firms: A Research on The Firms in İstanbul Stock Exchange

Abstract
The main purpose of the firms is to make profit. In this context, business managers are doing the necessary planning and apply. Nowadays, business plans made by management are not sufficient by itself. At this point, The strategy which is determine the long-term goal of business comes into play. Strategy is an important tool in improving the profitability of the company and provide competitive advantages. In this competitive environment, firms have been directed towards new strategic alternatives in order to make rational use of their limited resources under the pressure of internal and external circumstances. Applied cash management strategies can be effective on the business profitability. In this study, the impact of cash management strategies on firm profitability have tried to determine. For this purpose, a research has been done on cash management strategies that apply to firms on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
