The Effectiveness of Agricultural Vocational Schools to Increase Marketing Management Skills in Khuzestan Province

Abstract
Examining the effects of professional training in agricultural vocational schools to increase student’s marketing skill levels had been the main purpose of this paper. In this regard, survey approach and descriptive – correlation method have been utilized and, 113 third year students of crop and gardening from 5 agricultural vocational schools were considered as population. Consequently, Sample size according to Takman’s table has been defined as 96 and a questionnaire instrument has been developed according to textbooks content and interviews along with 15 items for evaluation of student’s skills. For validity, expert’s comments was applied and reliability was measured by Cronbach's alphas coefficient which was clearly confirmed (α=0.97). Commonly, Data analysis has been done by SPSS Statistical Software. Ultimately, Statistical differences between student’s farm management skill level, in connection with 15 items, before and after education which were tested through dependent Student's t-test indicates significant differences for 99% confidence level. Taking everything into account, it could be inferred that all educations in relation to agriculture skills which was presented in vocational schools of Khuzestan have been effective to improve the student’s marketing skill levels in marketing realm.
