The effectiveness of the village fund managements and the intent to report fraud A Case study at Jayapura Utara District: Kayu Batu Village

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of village fund management and the intent of reporting fraud. This research used a qualitative approach, and data collection was done by interviews and document analysis. The research was conducted in a village located in Jayapura Utara district of Kayu Batu village taking the village officials as the research subject. The results showed that village fund management in Kayu Batu has not been effective, and there has never been any intention to report fraud. This is due to the strong custom and tradition in KayuBatu village. Therefore, the intervention of the village stakeholders is still strong.
