The European destinies of Argentine exports during the Great Expansion
Journal Title: Revista de Estudios Marítimos y Sociales - Year 2012, Vol 5, Issue 11
Abstract
This paper analyzes main European destinies of Argentine exports during the great expansion. To do it so, we remake its geographic distribution following the data of the Anuarios de la Dirección General de Estadística de la Nación, but we corrected it based on market prices and exports “a órdenes” distribution. In addition, we present the link between purchasers and goods. As complement of statistical series, we have worked with unpublished diplomatic sources from the Ministery of Foreign Relations Archive.
