THE FORMATION OF DENDROCOMPOSITION USING DENDROEXOTS OF ARTIFICIAL RESERVE PARKS IN THE DECIDUOUS FORESTS ZONE OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The creation of landscape dendrocompositions is a complex process, the main element of which is woody plants. The selection technology consists of the placement and formation of plant material in compositions according to ecological, social and artistic requirements. The main tasks are creating favorable conditions for human life and providing a decorative effect. A significant number of rare dendroexots is highly decorative, that is why wood compositions with these species are noted for their attractive appearance. Nowadays, some rare species of woody plants are widely used not only in the territories of artificial protected parks, but also in ordinary landscape gardening objects. Species that have been successfully adapted to the conditions of broadleaf forests zone of Ukraine can often be seen in street landscaping, such as Aesculus hippocastanum L., Thuja occidentalis L. and Robinia pseudoacacia L. The types of wood compositions most common in artificial protected parks of the broadleaf forests zone of Ukraine are considered in this paper. It is believed that the most representative types of dendrocompositions in the studied region are solitters, dendrogroups and linear plantations. It was proposed the list of dendroexots species for the dendrocompositions forming. Thuja occidentalis L., Larix decidua Mill. and Aesculus hippocastanum L. are the most frequent in artificial protected landscape gardening objects. Many rare dendroexots are represented in dendrocompositions of only one or two protected parks. The plants that are grown on the territory of one object are 1/3 of the total number of dendroexots of the deciduous forests zone of Ukraine. The further species from the genera are among them: Abies Mill. (Abies fraseri (Pursh) Poir., А. grandis Douglas ex D. Don) Lindley, A. pinsаpo Boss. and Abies veitchii Lindl.), Cedrus Mill. (Cedrus atlantica Manetti, C. deodara (D. Don) G. Donf. та C. libani A. Rich.), Chamaecyparis Spach. (Chamaecyparis obtusа (Siebold. Zucc.) Endl.), Juniperus L. (Juniperus occidentalis Hook, J. procumbеns Sieb., J. rigida Sieb. et Zucc., J. scopulorum Sarg., J. squmata Lamb.), Larix Mill. (Larix Gmelini (L. dahurica Turrcz.), Picea Dietr. (Picea engelmannii Engelm., P. koraiensis Nakai et al.), Pinus L. (Pinus bungeana Zucc., P. halepensis Mill., P. pinaster Ait. et al.), Taxus L. (Taxus canadensis Marsh., T. chinensis (Rehder & E. H. Wilson) Rehder), Thuja L. (Thuja sutchuensis Franch., Th. koraiensis Nakai), Amorpha L. (Amorpha californica Nutt.), Armeniaca Mill.(Armeniaca vulgaris Mill.), Betula L. (Betula kirghisorum Sav.-Ryczg., Betula ermanii Cham. and Betula raddeana Trautv.).
