THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF TOURISM - GENERAL ASPECTS

Abstract
Tourism is one of the most important and most complex phenomena of human activity attested since ancient times. But as a specialized branch of the economy, the tourism activity was up until the twentieth century, when rapid movement appeared possibilities of large masses of people in a region of the Earth to another state guaranteeing freedom of movement. Studying the phenomenon of tourism from several points of view-imposed travel and increase the intensity. Framing branch of tourism among other sectors of the economy can be explained primarily by intensifying economic and cultural relations between the countries of the world by accelerated urbanization, increasing number of employees, increase material welfare and cultural level of the population and its degree of computerization, by modernization and rapid development of transport and telecommunications routes. In recent decades, few economic sectors also had growth rates of economic indicators tourism.
