THE ICONOSPHERE IN COMMUNICATION AND THE PRIVACY OF CONTEMPORARY YOUTH

Abstract
Images are significant in popular culture, they change the process of social communication, which takes on the visual nature. Today, everything becomes an image. Iconosphere, as the environment of the image, is rich and varied, due to its links to the functioning of the media. Each person has their own unique iconosphere. And what is most important from the point of view of these considerations – everyone uses it. In the face of the multiplicity of electronic image, the evaluative criterions of excellence, authenticity and originality are fading. This begins with the design era, the era of decay of intimacy and privacy. The article is an attempt to characterise the dangers which is brought about by making their photos public by the youth in the broad media. Short characteristics of the sexting phenomenon is also provided.<br/><br/>
