THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRINCIPLE OF TRANSPARENCY IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to analysis of the principle of transparency in the aspect of functioning of public authorities and local governments, as well as in the context of public opinion. We investigated the diversity of approaches to understand- ing the notion of transparency, investigated public opinion regarding the principle of transparency, analyzes the functioning of the principle of transparency in the context of the activities of state authorities and local self-government.
