Abstract
The article describes the process of formation of the professional competence of an English teacher in the process of postgraduate education with the help of an electronic resource. The characteristic of the online English teaching course for continuing education is given. The influence of professional achievements of an English teacher on the process of formation of the student's progress is analyzed.
