The interpersonal interaction as part of “soft skills” of pedagogical college students

Abstract
The article is dedicated to determination the place of interpersonal interaction in “soft skills” structure of pedagogical college students. The definitions of “hard skills” and “soft skills” are examined and also their role in professional development of pedagogical college students. The definition of “hard skills” is given as “basic competence”, which are the integration of knowledge, experience, professionally significant personal qualities, which make a person a professional in their occupation. Clarified that “soft skills” represents the complex of “flexible competence”, which consists of social, emotional, cognitive and control components. The comparative analysis allowed to characterize the shared and negative traits in the approach to understanding the notions of “soft skills” and “hard skills”. Determined that skills and culture of interpersonal interaction are part of “soft skills” social component of pedagogical college students, level of which influences the competitiveness of future specialist in the labor market.
