Journal Title: The Journal of International Social Research - Year 2017, Vol 10, Issue 51

Abstract

Nowadays working conditions are one of the biggest problems of managers; workers are often absent, indisciplined, and able to quit easily. On the basis of these and similar behaviors, it can be argued that job dissatisfaction and employees' self-involvement are not part of the organization. The ability to efficiently use the performances of employees is largely related to their job satisfaction and their commitment to that organization. It is thought that job satisfaction and organizational commitment perceptions of employees, unrewarded and unappreciated people who do not believe that they are being managed in a fair manner are of less value. In this stage, factors related to job satisfaction and organizational commitments are of great importance in terms of their continuity in the direction of their mission and vision. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the interaction between job satisfaction, management and rewarding, attitudes towards wages and social facilities and organizational commitment of workers in a large scale textile enterprise operating in Düzce. The survey was conducted on 449 employees selected with easy sampling. Quantitative analysis techniques were used in the research. According to the results of the research, wage and social facilities and management and rewards have direct effects on job satisfaction, while wages and social facilities cannot directly explain organizational commitment but indirectly through job satisfaction. On the other hand, the management and the appreciation structure seem to have a direct or indirect influence on the organizational commitment.
