The issue of background knowledge verbal representation translation in English film titles

Abstract
The article highlights basic issues and difficulties which a translator can be faced with in the process of the English film titles adequate translation and adaptation. The author proves the fact that film titles are among the most dynamically developing lexical units possessing a number of highly specific qualities.
