The Laboratory Experiments Regarding the Intercritical Heat Treatments Applied on the Low - Alloyed Steel
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2006, Vol 29, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper presents the research results regarding the influence of the intercritical thermal treatments carried out on some hypoeutectoid steel castings. The purpose of this research at the laboratory scale is to measure the effect of the thermal treatment which precedes the intercritical thermal treatment as well as to establish the optimum experimental variant in order to replace the classical thermal treatments.

Characterization of Iron and Low Alloy Steel Powders Obtained by Water Atomization
Three types of iron and low ally steel powders were investigated to determinate their physical properties and surface morphology by SEM analysis. The powders were obtained by water atomization. The first type of powder i...
Experimental Researches on the Lobe Deformation Process
In this work are presented the physical model, experimental conditions and researches concerning the lobe process. For this purpose it was created a physical experimental system composed of the deformation die, the hydra...
Effect of Oxidation on Spectrophotometric and Rheological Parameters of Corn Oil
The aim of this study is the viscosity’s evolution depending on the temperature and the shear rate and the analysis of the transmittance spectra of the oxidized corn oil. Corn oil was oxidized of the temperatures of 100°...
