The language of scientific theories explaining social processes. Introduction to issues

Abstract
The article verifies two hypotheses by Kristen Madsen regarding the criteria of science-based theory analysis. The first hypothesis is about the existence of two data languages: phenomenological and behavioral. The second refers to the language of data to the descriptive layer of the theory, and therefore to the empirical data on the basis of which the theory was built. In the light of reasoning - phenomenological and behavioral language is not an adequate tool for analyzing the descriptive layer of theory, and use of this classification as a tool for analyzing theory shows its other aspects than expected based on the understanding of these terms. The second conclusion refers to the theory as a whole and prompts you to look for criteria for recognizing the languages of theory, since limiting this issue to the descriptive layer seems to be an unauthorized reductionism.<br/><br/>
