The legal aspects of public transport professional drivers’ psychodiagnostic reliability

Abstract
Legal aspects of public transport professional drivers’ psychodiagnostic reliability issues have been investigated in the article as well as the modern system of drivers’ medical examinations. Several proposals for drivers’safety criteria for cognitive performance and personality characteristics have been represented to improve Ukrainian national legislation according to European standards requirements. These psychological characteristics examination procedure is very important for early relative professional activity contraindications identification and recognition, road safety level improvement, the number of road accidents (by 25 to 43%) reduction.
