The life of Ukrainian emigration in Vienna through the lenses of Andriy Zhuk’s correspondence with Olexandr Kandyba (Oles’)

Abstract

The separate period of emigration activities of Ukrainian public and political activist, cooperator Andriy Zhuk is highlighted in the article. Zhuk’s correspondence reflects internal life of the Vienna Union of Ukrainian Journalists and Writers and interpersonal relations. The article highlights Zhuk’s proposals concerning the settlement of urgent issues that disturbed Ukrainian emigration circles in the Union of Ukrainian Journalists and Writers.
