THE MAGIC AND A RIGHT TO HAPINESS: THE SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract
At the present time, the gaining of happiness by person is often connected with appeal to the magic. A lot of people are so disappointed in society, causing the feel of emptiness by them and even the feel of sickness. In this way the entities are losing their faith in religion’s possibilities appealing to the magical knowledge and practices. This situation pertains especially to transitional societies, where the actors’ trust to social institutes is not in general clear for them and is even absent. The reliance on personal powers and resources of our family are often appraised as desperate step or venture. The modern Ukrainian society applies to transitional societies, whose big part of discourses is aspired to the condition of modern. A right to happiness is one of the essential human rights, which is close connected to freedom, to sense of duty and belongings, but actually this right is today not fixed juridical and is ultimately weak defended in Ukraine. Especially during almost last thirty years is the magic enrooted in Ukraine into daily practices of significant number of as separate personalities so social communities. It is formalized and supported by specific organizations. The main goal of the magical acts and services is ultimately the accomplishment of happiness.
