THE MAIN AREAS OF SUSTAINABLE LOGISTICS: MEASUREMENT OF THE EFFECTS ON THE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
The article reflects the main directions of development of modern logistics based on the principles of sustainable development. Reflected the need to take into account the impact of logistics on the environment. Options for calculating greenhouse gas emissions that affect the global climate are shown. All approaches and methods of calculation are applicable to all modes of transport (road, rail, water, air). The most significant differences, apart from variations in engine technologies and fuel types, are related to data quality, distribution of emissions in multimodal transport, through joint capacity utilization.
