THE MAIN TENDENCIES IN THE SYSTEM OF PRESCHOOL TEACHER TRAINING IN HIGHER EDUCTIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN TURKEY: PEDAGOGICAL EXPERTISE RESULTS

Abstract
The article proves the necessity of reforming the system of preschool teacher training in Turkish higher educational institutions. It has been shown the utmost importance of the given problem due to the changes in early childhood education governmental policy. The Turkish National Education System is organized taking into consideration the following principles: universality and equality, focus on the needs of the individual and society, continuity of education, Ataturk’s revolutionary principles, democratic education, secularization of education, scientific content, co&education opportunities, ubiquity of education. On the basis of systematic study there have been proposed the main tendencies in the system of preschool teacher training in higher educational establishments in Turkey: democratization, internationalization, informatisation, multi&level system of training, of higher education quality assurance, the unified state control of knowledge and skills, complex content of training including a national component, the absence of distance and correspondence teaching, predominance of heoretical training, the necessity of pedagogical practice improvement. The edagogical expertise is devoted to verification of the tendencies mentioned above. The results obtained during this expertise have proved theoretically developed tendencies. The future research will be devoted to the comparison of peculiarities of Turkish and Ukrainian systems of preschool teacher education.
