THE METHOD OF CALCULATING THE OPTIMAL RELIABILITY OF FACTORS ASSESSING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE ENTERPRISE

Abstract
The purpose is the theoretical substantiation of the complex approach in assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise and the development of recommendations for its improvement through the implementation of such functions as selecting the necessary factors, taking into account the necessary order of their integration. The main purpose of the application of factor estimation is to determine the relation of the order established between the factors by the level of significance. On this basis, the place (or rating) of each factor from the given set that is being evaluated is determined. Summarizing the results of the analysis of works in the field of competitiveness of enterprises, it is concluded that at present there is no single common methodology for determining the optimal number of factors for assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise. Also, when assessing the competitiveness index of an enterprise, no one takes into account the necessity of adhering to the order of integration of the selected factors. The proposed methodology for assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise indicates the need to organize work on the selection of a greater number of output data, the processing of which does not guarantee sound conclusions about the competitiveness of the entire system. Estimation of the company's capabilities based on the factors allows to build a “hypothetical polygon of enterprise competitiveness”. For each axis the level of values of each investigated factor is displayed, as a result – the larger the area, the higher the competitiveness of the enterprise. By depicting on a single polygon picture the level of the factors of competitiveness for different enterprises, it becomes possible to analyze their competitiveness by various factors. But as calculations have shown, when changing the order of evaluation of factors, as well as their number, the competitiveness indicator of the enterprise was different, which led to ambiguous conclusions. When calculating the competitiveness index, there is a problem of the accuracy of the obtained indicator. Were conducted research calculations of this indicator with different order of use and the number of selected factors. The result showed various final indicators of the competitiveness of the enterprise. To solve this problem, a procedure was proposed for determining the optimal number of evaluation factors, taking into account the necessary order of their integration. It is proposed to apply theoretical developments in the education system for the quality control of knowledge, on the process of calculating the optimal reliability of factors in assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise. Practical implications is determined by the fact that on the basis of the conducted researches the method of calculation of optimum reliability of factors of estimation of competitiveness of the enterprise is offered.
