THE METHODS OF STUDYING LEXIS AT THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE LESSONS

Abstract
The article analyzes the methods of studying lexis at the Ukrainian language lessons in the context of forming a modern linguistic personality. Scientific works on this problem have been studied and its multidimensionality has been established. The material of the article is an analysis of effective methods of studying lexis and ways of their practical using. The special attention is paid to those types of work that contribute to effective forming students’ vocabulary. The article distinguishes the role of independent work in the process of mastering the Ukrainian lexis.
