GENERAL REVIEW OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROCES OF THE MUSICAL ART IN DUBROVNIK IN THE PERIOD OF XIV–XVIII CENTURY THROUGH THE PRISM OF HISTORICAL TERMS

Abstract
The article helps to analyze in detail the process of development of musical art in the city of Dubrovnik (Croatia). The period proposed by the author for consideration is important not only for the development of musical art of a separately localized territory, but also for the whole state. The article clearly identifies certain aspects for confirmation of this statement. The culture of Dubrovnik is an important component of the whole Croatian culture. In detail paying attention to the individual nuances of the development process of the musical art in Dubrovnik contributest to the clearer understanding of the elements that form an general issue in relation to the musical art of Croatia.
