THE MISSION OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IN PRESENT-DAY UKRAINIAN REALITY

Abstract
The paper prepared by Olena Adamovich represents a consolidated recording of meetings o f His Beatitude Liubomyr Huzar, Cardinal, the Major Archbishop o f the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, with researchers, medical students, and representatives o f medical community o f Lviv, members o f the Shevchenko Scientific Society (Lviv) and Ukrainian Medical Association in Lviv on the occasion o f the 150th birth anniversary of the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi. Pressing problems o f Ukraine were discussed, and the role o f health professionals in the establishment of civil society was defined along with the importance o f scientific principles ofproblem-solving, and involvement o f qualified experts o f the respective research institutions to fulfill the dreams and hopes o f the Ukrainian people.
