Abstract
The article is devoted to the motive of national memory in the novel “Marusya Bohuslavka” by I. Bagryany, which is a factor of the revival of the Ukrainian nation in the Soviet reality. Actualizing important historical events of the first third of the twentieth century, the writer tries to understand them in the context of a national victory and defeat, able to consolidate community.
