THE OPTIONAL SUBJECT “MODERN TEACHING SPANISH LANGUAGE TOOLS IN SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION”: ADVANCE OF METHODICAL TEACHER’S COMPETENCE

Abstract
The potential of optional subjects in advancing of methodical competence of specialization 014.02 Language and liter- ature (Spanish language and literature)) is emphasized. There is a definition of the aim, tasks and optional subject context “Modern tools of Spanish language teaching in secondary educational institution” that is relied on the authoress’s experi- ence of creation of multimedia teaching tools – educational site (access mode http://bigich.knlu.edu.ua/), manual “Methods of foreign language teaching in the primary school”, particularly of Spanish language: visual aid and cinquain-collage “Las Navidades en España”, visual aid “Las fiestas en el mundo hispanohablante”, electronic / mobile case “El turismo ecológico en Costa Rica”. Topics of lectures are listed (Teaching tools – the component of the Spanish language teaching; The authentic cartoon as a teaching tool of Spanish language; Classification of visual aids in Spanish language teaching; Gaming tools of Spanish language teaching; Multimedia tools of Spanish language teaching; The case as a tool of Spanish language teaching; The language portfolio as an innovative tool of assessing learning progress) and studies (Classification of Spanish language teaching tools; Comparative analysis of didactic materials of authentic Spanish language textbooks; Shorts as a tool of Spanish language teaching; Aids for Spanish language teaching; Gaming tools of Spanish language teaching; Multimedia tools of Spanish language teaching; Multimedia tools of Spanish language learning; The case as a tool for Spanish language teaching). Some formats of studies (traditional auditorium study, methodical battle, methodical briefing, professionally oriented role game) and technologies of their implementation (E. de Bono’s interactive technology “Six thinking hats”, technologies of edutainment and flipped learning) are defined concretely.
