Blown glass design: decoration methods with colour powders

Abstract
The article describes one of the most popular in the world and almost unknown in the domestic glass manufacturing method of blown glass decoration with colour powders. The basic properties, conditions of use and storage, interaction principles and methods of application are highlited in the article. Several ways of decorating of blown glass pieces, based on the three glass powder manufacturer products are proposed. Proposed methods are ef¿ cient for industrial production as far as they are not resourceful and time-consuming. The detailed description of several common techniques with colored powders used by the Ukrainian Galician Glass factory is presented as exempli¿ ed by several its patterns.
