Journal Title: Legea și viața - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
Violations and abuses may be possible in any social activity. The customs authority or persons working in the customs service make no exception . By acts or actions, they may infringe the rights of individuals or legal persons. Thus, the patrimonial liability of the customs authority is the third form of liability specific to the administrative law because the activity of the customs authorities, like any human activity, can cause prejudice to individuals. Therefore, the person injured in a right by the customs authority, by an administrative act or through the failure to resolve the request within the legal term, is entitled to obtain the recognition of the claimed right, the annulment of the act and the repair of the damage.
