THE PHENOMENON OF A MUSEUM OBJECT: MUSEOLOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract
The article reveals the peculiarities of the functioning of a museum object in the museum's space as a special historical, social and cultural phenomenon. Attention is focused on the memorial of the museum subject, its key role in museum communication, exhibiting and scientific-funded work. The works of well-known museum theorists and practitioners on the given problem are analyzed.
