THE PLACE OF BULGARIAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AMONG INTERNATIONAL HEALTH SYSTEMS ACCORDING TO DEGREE OF INCORPORATION OF NON-CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE IN NATIONAL HEALTH CARE

Abstract

The article presents the types of system, described by World Health Organization (WHO), according to degree to which the traditional medicine (complementary medicine, alternative medicine, non-conventional medicine) is an offi cially recognized element of health care and the place of Bulgaria among these systems. Bulgaria is among countries with integrative system according to degree of incorporation of non-conventional methods in national health care.
