The powers of the presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland in the sphere of lawmaking process: a comparative and legal analysis.

Abstract
Analyzed the powers in lawmaking process of the Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland. On the basis of the comparison provided by the legislation of the two countries of competences of the heads of States at different stages of the legislative process, it is has been proved that the President of Ukraine as a subject of legislative initiative uses a wider range of powers than the President of the Republic of Poland. Suggestions regarding the appropriateness of borrowing by Ukraine of the experience of the Republic of Poland, associated with the implementation of the preventive constitutional control have been defined.
