The principles and types of commercialization of high-tech products manufactured by industrial enterprises

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of understanding the concept and types of high-tech products, in particular, taking into account international practice, domestic official statistics and the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity. It has been established that in many cases that innovative products are identified with high-tech products. It has been identified that today the most high-tech sectors of the economy are as follows: production of basic medicinal and pharmaceutical products; production of computers, electronic and optical products; manufacture of various air and space craft. The article considers the key regional leaders in the field of high-tech production in the world by region. Based on the results of analysis of the concepts "innovation", "commercialization", "production" and "technology", commercialization of high-tech products is proposed to be interpreted as a process of establishing the production, marketing and promotion of high-tech products within the volumes that will ensure the expected economic effect for the company. However, it has been proved that innovation is actually an additional feature of high-tech products. The article analyzes types of commercialization of high-tech products which are proposed to be classified according to content, level of efficiency, number of commercialization subjects, geographical coverage of commercialization subjects and financing method.
