Abstract
Due to the globalization of modern society, to the rapid development of new information technologies and projects within the framework of professional linguodidactics, foreign language-speech training of future specialists becomes their focus, since the formation of a specialist as a secondary language-aware personality at the appropriate level facilitates the approaching of Ukraine’s higher educational system closer to the achievement of its main goal ‒ international integration and integration of Ukraine’s higher education into the European space of higher education. The philosophical basis for the study of the problem of future specialists’ training in foreign language speaking is considered in the article; the work of psychologists and methodologists devoted to this topic is researched; a brief review of the main world trends regarding some modern foreign language-speech training of future specialists is presented. The analysis of modern scientific studies on the problem of future specialists’ foreign language-speech training allows us to conclude that the main problems of the modern Russian scientists’ research is to determine the basic principles of future specialists’ foreign language-speech training, to develop methods for teaching various types of speech activity, to introduce new pedagogical technologies in educational process for modeling social context, using of information-computer technologies in foreign language teaching as well as strengthening the autonomy and self-expression of students. Some scientists believe that the activation of the diversity of the content components constituting the teaching of foreign language, their variability and integration at all stages of professional training targeted to future specialists is a determining reason for achieving a high level of foreign language-speech training of higher school graduates. At the same time, we emphasize that, in the context of modern educational trends aimed at the improvement of the quality of foreign language-speech training, the profession-oriented teaching of a foreign language in the framework of educating a competitive specialist of a certain specialty acquires special importance while dealing with future specialists / experts. In particular, this concerns professional and speech training of future specialists in technical specialties, the attention to their communicative potential having been significantly increased in recent years. The analysis of the scientific literature allowed us to conclude that teaching foreign languages at Ukraine’s higher school has particular practical experience, but in connection with some objective reasons it has not been sufficiently studied or generalized.
