The relationship between social intelligence and capabilities and skills of PE teachers in Tabriz

Abstract
The present study aimed at examining the relationship between social intelligence and abilities and skills of PE teachers in Tabriz. Regarding the purpose and method of data collection, this study is applicable anddescriptive- survey, respectively. The study population comprises all high school PE teachers in all five regions of Tabriz, which consists of 327 teachers. 181 subjects were selected by random sampling and Morgan’s table. To collect data, the social intelligence questionnaire of Tromso and the questionnaire skills and abilities by Mogimi and Ramadan were used, the validity of these questionnaires was approved by the Supervisor and the reliability of these questionnaires was achieved through Cronbach's alpha to be respectively as, 0.825 and 0.940. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation, independent t test and anova) were used and the results are as follows: The main experimental research suggests that there is relationship between the social intelligence and the skills and abilities of first and second grade high school PE teachers in Tabriz. The results of other hypothesisindicate that there is a significant relationship between of all aspects of social intelligence and skills and abilities of PE teacher teachers.
