The research of the development of the students’ powers to use emotions in the activity and communication

Abstract

The article describes the scientists’ views on the purposiveness of emotions in the activity and commu- nication usage, the development of the ability to use emotions core indicators are emphasize, the research process of the development of the students’ powers in the professional training system is shown. Based on the research of the students’ ability level to use emotions in communication and activity (the ability to the emotional stability, extraversion, flexibility in the emotions demonstration, the dominance of the positive emotions, the ability to chum up with people on the emotional basis) according to the techniques: “The scale of the emotional stability-instability (neuroticism)” (H. Eysenck), “Questionnaire EPI” (H. Eysenck),“What prevents you to establish contacts with partners through the emotions”(V.V. Boyko) it is established that 16,6% of the students have the high level of the emotional stability, the sufficient level – 20,2%, 31% of students have the average emotional stability and the low level of the emotional stability – 32,2% of the students, that is, at least a third of students require the special work with them to develop this ability. The high level of the ability to extraversion, i.e. the orientation on a wide circle of acquaintances, the necessity in contacts as very important abilities for a successful professional career was shown by 17.5% of students, a sufficient level – 19,3% of the students, the average – 33% of students, the low one – 30,2%. Despite the fact that extraverts, although being communicative, sociable, mobile, capable to the excitation, they show a tendency to make the insufficiently balanced decision, when they are in the hyperthymia, then usually there is a need for the enrichment of the attention to the development of their ability for the rational emotions usage in the specific situations as far as they contribute to the adoption of the constructive solutions and their effective implementation. Investigation of the ability to use emotions for the positive relationships estab- lishing with partners made possible to fix that the researched at a high-level ability is developed in 9,2% of students, at a sufficient level – in 30,2% of students, at an average level – in 46,2% and at a low one – 14,4% of the students, that is more than a half of the students this ability has to be developed more intensively by including in the educational process such exercises and targets, that contribute to form the experience of the emotion usage in order to establish a constructive dialogue with business partners.
