THE RIGHT TO EVERYONE TO SAFE ENVIRONMENT: CONSEQUENCES FOR TEMPORARY OCCUPIED TERRITORIES OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article analyzes the latest scientific and practical researches of human right to a safe environment. The author refers to the international agenda on this issue – the work of the UN Human Rights Office of the high Commissioner for Human Rights and the Environment. The theoretical approaches to the issue of coining out of such a specific right in Ukraine are presented, and it is proposed to supplement the list of aspects of environmental rights in view of the urgency of the protection of activists in the field of environmental protection. Particular attention is paid to the urgency of the issues raised for Ukraine, especially for the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – Donbass, where the ecological situation is extremely dangerous, which is reflected not only in the local population, but also far beyond the region.
