The role and tasks of the patent attorney in the management system of industrial property

Abstract
In this article the author presents the role and tasks of the patent attorney in the protection system of the industrial property. Today the company uses intangible assets which in the Polish system are protected by law. Apart from this formal regulation the practice is showing that they are playing more and more greater role in the contemporary economy. Therefore entrepreneurs and individuals were equipped with the possibility of using the professional assistance of persons who have specific skills to manage these goods. These persons are patent attorneys which offer the professional assistance in every case concerning intangible goods. Special their participation was provided in the proceedings concerning the protection of industrial property.
