THE ROLE OF COMPETITION IN THE EFFICIENT FUNCTIONING OF MEDICINAL HERBS MARKET

Abstract
Introduction. Influence of market regulators on economic relations is growing in the agricultural sector along with the development of economic relations in our country. Entities have all conditions to produce high-quality medicinal plants, which provide the necessity of development of theoretical and legal regulation of the production process to ensure sustainable economic development. Methods. The following general scientific methods are used during the research, such as: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. The methods of mathematical modeling and abstraction are used to research the impact of competition on the behavior of producers. Results. This research makes it possible to define the role of competition in the medicinal plants market. The current state of the market and future directions of its development is defined to ensure that the maximum number of needs and sustainable development of the agricultural sector. Discussion. The basic steps in perspectives directions are defined on the medicinal plants market development in our country. The role of competition in the market and generated recommendations for its sustainable use in the production process is defined.
