TRANSITION ECONOMIES NATIONAL POLICY OF INFLATION REGULATION: THE CASE OF HUNGARY

Abstract
Introduction. Choosing the correct effective macroeconomic policies in the initial stage of market reforms is an important foundation for further transformation in this direction. Methods. The works of domestic and foreign scholars on the analysis of inflation in transition economies, official statistical data of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, reports the NBU and Central Bank of Hungary made the theoretical and methodological base of scientific researches. Results. The inflationary process in transition economies on the case of Hungary is investigated in the article. The macroeconomic situation in Hungary is analyzed. Reasonable steps further using of the Hungarian experience for Ukraine are founded. Particular attention to the normative acts improvement in preparation for the introduction of inflation targeting regime is given. Discussion. The results of this study can be used by professionally regulating prices public authorities, such as the Ministry of Finance, the state statistical agencies.
