THE ROLE OF ELECTRICITY GENERATION COMPANIES IN THE CONTEXT OF ENERGY SECURITY – THE CASE OF POLAND
Journal Title: Proceedings of Electrotechnical Institute Prace Instytutu Elektrotechniki - Year 2012, Vol 59, Issue 258
Abstract
This paper examines the role of electric energy producers in the context of energy security, using Poland as an example. Analysis of the role of electric energy producers in ensuring energy security in legal and technical domain is shown. Moreover, the assessment of possibilities and effectiveness of solution applied in Poland for electric energy producers from a point of view assurance of energy security is described. Special attention is paid to system operator – electric energy producer relations.

MODELING OF MAGNETIC LOSSES OF A SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR
The paper deals with the mathematical model of a switched reluctance motor 3/2, with the stator of an induction motor. Parameters of this model were determined experimentally. The AC voltage of different frequencies was...
DESIGN OF PARALLEL SINGLE-CORE CABLE LINES OF LOW VOLTAGE
In low-voltage power systems, when it is necessary to lead out high power, the most common method to design the electrical installation is to use multi-cable lines consisting of single-core cables in parallel connection....
WYŁĄCZNIKI PRÓŻNIOWE NA NAPIĘCIE 24 kV OPRACOWANE W INSTYTUCIE ELEKTROTECHNIKI
W artykule omówiono opracowane w Zakładzie Wielkich Mocy Instytutu Elektrotechniki dwa typy wyłączników na napięcie znamionowe 24 kV. Jeden z napędem bocznym i drugi z napędem ustawionym równolegle do komór próżniowych....
ANALIZA WPŁYWU KONFIGURACJI PANELI FOTOWOLTAICZNYCH NA WEWNĘTRZNE STRATY MOCY ELEKTROWNI PV
Konfiguracja szeregowo-równoległa paneli w Elektrowni Fotowoltaicznej determinowana jest kilkoma względami. Najistotniejsze są wymagania elektryczne dotyczące napięcia i prądu wejściowego falownika sprzęgającego z siecią...
INVESTIGATIONS INTO MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF CORES OF TRANSFORMERS AND INDUCTORS FOR CONVERTRS
Over 140 types of inductors and nearly 30 types of transformers were developed at the Department of Electric Traction of the Electrotechnical Institute. They usually operate at frequencies many times higher than 50 Hz, a...
