THE ROLE OF “SAFETY” CATEGORY IN THE MECHANISM OF CIVIL LEGAL PROTECTION OF HOUSING RIGHTS

Abstract
The article investigates the specifics of the protection of citizens’ housing rights through the prism of a new concept of security for civil law as one of the basic categories of civil law. The author expresses an opinion on the possibility and necessity of considering this category in the mechanism of protection of civil rights and interests, including housing rights. Security is a determinative factor that allows to build an ideal model of the mechanism of legal regulation, including protection of citizens’ housing rights in the conditions of the need to give stability to relations in the sphere of realization of citizens’ housing rights; to develop clear criteria for restricting rights in the context of conflict of interests of participants in civil legal relations.
