The Role of Six Sigma in Improving the Performance of the University Hospital Mustafa Pasha in Algeria.

Abstract
The research aimed at testing the ability of using the Six Sigma in the public sector which is represented at the University Hospital Mustafa Pasha. Six Sigma is taken into consideration because it is the most new and removes patterns to ensure a good quality which is used in the world. The research used the analytical style beside the theoretical one in order to have many conclusions such as: the standards of health and treatment service for the patients which are very bad, the hospital is in need of controlling systems to show the standards of quality service that is presented in the hospital, therefore it is necessary to implement the Six Sigma in the hospital as a controlling system in order to improve the service. It also targeted to improve the operation theatre and laboratories according to the standards.
