The Role of Technology Knowledge and Future Prospects of the University Students over Their Career Planning

Abstract
Career planning for university students is important to advance business life to turn to their interest in accordance with their capabilities and to get used to the professional life. It is believed that can be affected their career planning, technological knowledge and skills required by the business, the future prospects of students. The data set has been collected by using the convenience sampling method utilizing data from a sample of 180 undergraduate level senior class students studying at the Science&Letters, Engineering and Economics Faculties of Gumushane University. The survey was created considering literature and consists of three parts. Part one is including questions about demographics such as gender, age, education and income level. Part two includes questions measuring technology awareness level and part three includes questions about future prospects. At the empirical application stage of this study, the logistics regression analysis method has been used to analyze the data. The results of this study conclude that have significant effects on their career plans, the technology knowledge and future prospects.
