THE ROLE OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SCHOOL IN UKRAINIAN FAIRYLORE STUDIOS

Abstract

The article deals with the studying of the influence of the psychological school achievements on the development of Ukrainian fairylore editing. Basing on the works of A. Potebnja, M. Hrushevsky, F. Kolessa we observed the dynamics of the theoretical issues of the traditional Ukrainian fairytale on the edge of the language/culture/nation, taking into consideration the parallel research of the psychological school in the European context. It has been emphasized the modern research of the ethnopsychology in Ukraine, as well as pointed out directions of the research, especially the problem of studying the fairytale with the psychological methods. It has also been observed the genesis of the Ukrainian psychological school during two centuries in order to establish the importance of ethnopsychological approaches to Ukrainian fairylore. Theoretical and editing achievements were summarized for further ethnopsychological research of the traditional fairytale.
