THE SCIENTIFIC HERITAGE OF M. SHAPOVAL ABOUT UKRAINIANITY DURING THE PERIOD OF EMIGRATION

Abstract
The analysis of M. Shapoval's contribution to the formation of the national idea through the description of his works, which the scientist wrote during the exile. There are considered the main ideas of the scholar, aimed at the development of Ukrainians. The analysis of the main scientific works of the scientist covering the given subject of research is carried out. The main stages of M. Shapoval's emigration activities were described, that related to scientific and social activities, which contributed to the development of Ukrainians. Appropriate conclusions and generalizations have also been made.
